First Day of School hair 2013 (day two hair)

As all of you probably know by now, I am really lazy when it comes to hair (LOL) Don’t laugh if hair turns out cute I want to use it twice! I only wash my kids hair every other day, so this leaves me lots of 2 day hair do’s!
So we did a double waterfall braid on Baby Mermaids hair for day one
 
So this was yesterdays hair! Pretty fun and it stayed in really well, So today I just combed it out to get rid of the fuzzys!
 

And Braided back the back and put it in a low bun! easy peasy but super cute and quick!

Cute Simple Knotty Bun

So this was a quick easy bun, I just braided back the front of her hair in a loose french braid and then wrapped the rest into a knotty bun… apparently we must have been in a hurry because we hadn't picked up our folded socks off the floor…Sorry about the mess

Mom’s Sunday Hair of Doom

 So I usually wash my hair on Saturday night and let it dry overnight, today however I washed and dried my hair before church (sunday morning) and it……is not a good thing as you can tell by my hideous picture! so I thought I would try a bun on myself LOL here goes!I pulled up the top “bangs” portion of my hair Pulled everything else into a pony And then tucked the pony threw itself to make a little bit of a knot

     

Then I wrapped the pony around my fingers and secured to the bottom most part of my hair with bobby pins, I guess you could use hair pins…I never tried

so you end up with this

 

Next I took my bangs and twisted them into loose ropes… 

Tied the ropes together and pinned…

and managed to make my hair less nasty in a matter of minutes! yah! its always great to go from a bad hairday to an OK one in 10 minutes!

Qoileez!

and they are pretty cool! when they came in the mail Baby Mermaid and Little Princess were totally into them, they thought that they were very cool…
This is one of the sets that we got and I have to say they colors are just as great and bright as the pictures! I was really excited!
So here is a hairdo and a couple more pictures that we did with our  Qoileez!

 

So I pulled her hair back into a big pony leaving the front long and braided that, And put a Qoileez on the end, this one stayed in really well because of the thickness of Baby Mermaids hair! They go in really easy on some one else, I tried to put one in my own hair! thanks goodness for a DH that was willing to help out!

  

Then I braided her bangs into four braids and put the Qoileez on each of these ends, these braids were to thin to hold the Qoileez on, so I put a elastic under them and they worked just fine!

 

Then I Wrapped her main pony into a big bun, pined the heck out of it and made sure that the Qoileez ended up on the top! super easy!

 

Then I took each braid and wove them through the bun you can see how it looked and how I pulled each one through. Just make sure that the cute little plastic ends up on the top part of the bun!

  

then I pinned down all the flyaways and ended up with this amazing bun!

And your done! super easy and fun.
This is a second hairdo we did on baby mermaid and the Qoileez stayed in her hair amazing with no elastic!

 

This one was Excellent! I think the kids will love them on there Pencils this fall! they were super fun and easy to use!

Ropes and Braids bun

Todays Hairdo on The Little Princess will be a super quick hairdo that you can do up before school no problem!

First an easy two pony's close to each other in the back, leaving the front “bangs” out

Now Dutch braid the bangs back on both sides and rope braid the ponies!

Wrap one of the ropes around the other one and secure with pins

 

fill in the center with the second rope

Wrap the braids around the bun securing with pins

and your done! I didn’t get a front view! Sad

Romantic summer hair again

here is the link where I got this Idea, yea, if you look back to last year, you can see my opinion of the book, its not that I hate the book, its just well, in my opinion not really step by step and some of the hairdos turn out kinda weird, for example the bun Mohawk

Start by braiding three braids from one side

Make one of three buns stacked down the back of your head, and hook the braid into the bun

Keep buning and wraping, LOL

Tell you end up with this!

Loose worm bun

I have done a lot of Worm/twisted buns in my blog career, but this time a twisted it really loose to make more of a grown up look,

Just taking pieces of hair I twisted it loosley and hooked it with a bobby pin to make sure it stayed,

just keep on going, loosely twisting and pinning

we could have hairsprayed each section to keep it from looking…messy, but that frayed look was kind of what I was going for,

and there bookworm is done!
