Curly hair with a felt flower headband

I Put baby Mermeamids hair into curlers for her hair today,

I pulled out all of the curlers exept for the ones in the front

Then I put in the headband with the curlers still in the front of her hair (so I didn’t get the front curls hooked into the headband (that is elastic)

After I got the headband in I pulled out the rest of the curlers and pined the curls back behind her headband to hold it in

and your done!

I love to say Hairband, it reminds me of my days in the 80’s with the big rock and roll hair do’s ahhhh back when puffy hair was cool, any how, here is Baby mermaids do for today, this is a second day do, day one we just wore the knots, if you don’t remember how to do the rolled knots the link is provided, I gooped in tonz of pomade and they stayed really well, so day two I just pulled them to kind of tighten them up and then went on from there!

Here she is with here eyes closed of course, I just pulled the ends from the knots and hooked them with an elastic under her hair! More pics of the hair    Here you can see her ends hooked under! easy and cute!

tiny twisted rope headband

I Did a "Hair band" on Too Cool For Hair today! it turned out pretty cute and I fancy-ed it up a tiny bit!

Here you can see the parts where the ropes start, her hair is so dark it is hard to see the ropes,

here you can see the rope, it just hooks with an elastic with the headband hair from the front under her long tresses!

Wide Hair Headband

For some reason lately I have been in a hair headband mood, so I did a wide triple head band on Baby Mermaid. I did a regular headband with her bangs, a dutch braid second and then a regular french braid last. so it was quite a bit wider than usual
Here it is all pulled together under her hair

and from the front, I think we stuck a bow in after the pic, but sometimes believe it or not my kids will go to school without hair accessories! and remember to keep checking back for my very cool fabo giveaway!!!!!

Another Sunday Do!

For all of you who don't know me.... which I have to say is probably most, I have fairly severe Insomnia, and my dear sweet husband who makes me go to bed just got put back on a rotating shift, so I have almost survived my first week of swings, 6pm till 6am and I got to sleep in this beautiful Sunday morning so I needed something quick but still kinda impressive! I have to admit I am kind of a church hair showoff! so this is what we did. I put her hair into a straight hair headband, by parting it on the side and...

Then I sectioned out a 1inch wide section that was right behind her headband

Dutch braided that on the same part as the front... Then I took out the rest of her hair (I had it clipped to keep it out of the braid) and curled the ends

Little rolled knots headband (day 2)

So yesterday we did the little rolled knots into piggies http://chic-clipshair.blogspot.com/2009/06/little-rolled-knots-into-pigtails.html and today I was lazy and the knots still looked ok so this is what we did, we sprayed her hair with detangler to get rid of the pigtail bumps, then pulled the knots tails like this and put elastics on them to hold them together Then we pulled the tails down under her hair and elasticed (my family says their is no such word as elasticed so I guess i should say I put an elastic in) it their tight!

combed out the rest of her hair and now she can go play with no hair in her face all day!
