Pony in a net of ropes

I am sure that this is not original to me, I just sat down and started to play and this is what we ended up with. I am thankful for patient kiddos! We did six ropes across the front of Baby Mermaid's Head
Then we took out a section in the back behind her ear like this

and hooked the 3 braids from the left side to the section behind her ear on the right

Then we wove the right sides threw the left side and hooked it to a small section behind her right ear

Then we hooked both sections together under her hair, and I pulled out the curling iron and of course my good friend hairspray and went to town!

Here she is still in her jamies and her hair all dolled up!

From the back,

and ready for church!

blog award!

I am so excited to get an award! man, I feel cool! thanks sugarandspice
you rock! so I guess that I have to tell you five things that I am addicted to!
1- is my family! I love my kids and of course my man! I feel like a truly blessed (and lucky) chick to have picked such a great man!
2-McDonald's hash browns my mom and I go get hash browns and a drink every weekday! I love spending time with her!
3-I think hair falls in third, my mom and hubby even call me obsessed! Who me?
4- Hair accessories, the lack of being able to find and afford bows that I like prompted me to start my own company! Chic-clips
5- now this one is hard, I think that I would have to say just being a mom. It is truly the one thing in my life that I have always wanted! and it is one of the most rewarding, and frustrating things any woman could ever do!
well, I feel like I just opened my soul to a bunch of strangers! and if you want to pass up this entry without reading it go ahead! I wont feel bad! in fact I wont even know!

braids,again

Today I was in the mood to braid so that is what we did! sorry these instructions are so vague, I was typing them while on hold on the phone! so please forgive me!

we did a dutch french braid parting the hair on the far right side!

Then we did a second braid only parting it on the left side.

Then we did a third braid, on the right side again, and then pulled the back into a high ponytail.

then we hooked the braids back into the pony!

add a bow,

and some Baby Mermaid cheese,

and, your done!

Bump it, bump it bump it!

While at wal-mart, I broke down and bought Bump its. To the chorus of Bump it, Bump it, Bump it! I drove home. To the chorus of Bump it, Bump it, Bump it! I pulled out the girls hair. To the chorus of Bump it, Bump it, Bump it! I did new do's none of which were picture worthy! but today with new resolve, we put a bump it in the Little Princesses hair!I flipped all of her hair out with the curling iron, easy peasy.
Then I used the tiny bump it, ratted out the front of her hair, stuck that sucker in there, and smoothed the hair on top, stuck a couple of bobby pins and of course a bow and your done!
