Funky buns with a zipper

Hey Everyone we had a photo shoot today for my hair bows and my friends custom clothing Stitcheroos So Here is the funny fun Hairdo we did on Baby Mermaid!
we started with a Zipper part, I just braided her hair back and forth across the part I would have liked to do it twice more.... but I was out of time!
Then I pulled the sides up into pigtail, then I braided the pigtails into 6 braids and braided it down 3/4 of the way.

Then I hooked the braids into loops with bobby pins, and left the tops all crazy.

Here she is with crazy tops. at this point I was running crazy, So we ran upstairs I curled and fluffed her ends and I didn't take the camera up so.... NO Pictures for you!

added some of the cutest Minnie Mouse bows EVER!

Here it is from the top with a good view of the zipper

Here she is messing around after the shoot! she has her cute outfit on but I have to admit the wind had picked up quite a bit so her tutu looks a little weird!

cute socks!
there you go!

Lattice pigtails

This is one of our quickies that we do fairly often! I got it from She does hair! one of my favorite blogs! So I split her hair into pigtails and then split the hair into six sections three on each side.
Cross the front two to the middle two, easy peasy

then cross the middle ones to the back!

Eyes closed from the front

from the back with some of the worlds biggest bows!

Show Choir hair

To Cool for Hair is in a show choir and this is her show choir hair for this year. I had to go to a meeting to learn how to do it, but I had cub scouts so I sent my Dear Husband. Last year they taught us how to use a curling Iron and I thought no problem this year, I would just read the instructions and whip it out... (hahahaha) it was a little bit more involved but really cute so here goes. pull the back part of her hair into a twist and secure with a elastic.
I parted her hair back about an inch and a half and then parted that above her left eye. slicked down her hair to her ears and....

pined it above her ears, then I pulled the front part back and hooked it into the twist, I did pin curls above the twist following these instructions

and here we are from the back with lots of hairspray

and the top with lots of hairspray

I told her she had crazy eyes but she said no more pics so I guess this is as good as it gets this early in the morning.

Braids into a bun 2nd day hair

This is day two hair after the braid into the side pony hairdo, we redid the first braid, but ended the french part in the center of her head. Then we braided her hair all the way down. Then we braided the second one ending it right by the other braid
After we got both braids, we pulled them up into a pony.

We wrapped one side around the other braid and secured it with bobby pins
Then we wrapped the other braid around the first and secured with bobby pins
