A Quickie?

Here is a quick hair do we did on Baby Mermaid. I slept in on a Sunday and needed something fancy in just a minute so this is what we did.

I just braided back the bangs and wrapped the elastic with hair and pulled it threw with my “ponytail tucker” i.e. “Topsy Tail” or as the kids call it the hair puller! LOL

Then I just curled the ends with my CHI and we were off! I didn’t even put bows in!!!!!!!! Is it a first in Chic-Clips History?

Braided Bun

For today’s hair do we did a dutch braid that followed To Cool for Hairs Head around the side, starting in the front middle,

Because her hair is so heavy and thick I put it into a pony at the base of her head and then braided that pony down.

Then we just tied her hair into a knot and secured it with bobby pins, It looked very sophisticated in a understated way and was a hit at church,

Fancy woven ribbon hair

We had a hard week again, My cousin who is special needs died suddenly last Friday, He was such a sweet loving person. Eric will truly be missed by all who knew him. He always felt so strongly about doing things that were right and the only times that I saw him upset or angry was when his freedoms were being challenged.
For such a special guy I had to do special hair for the girls, This is what I came up with for Baby Mermaid!

So we did two dutch braids from ear to ear to make a wide headband.

 

Then we laced a ribbon in between the braids,

Added a black bow,

from the top

curled the backs with my straight iron and we were out the door!

I always try to do something simple on school picture day but still diffrent than the rest of the kids,
this is what we came up with.....

We Just did a simple rope

Then we tucked it back and hooked it with bobby pins

Getting back to normal

Sorry, my life has been a whirl wind the last couple of weeks. My cute little Baby Mermaid was diagnosed with Tourettes yesterday, Two weeks ago the doctors warned us that this was coming (90% sure)That really knocked me over and it has taken a little bit to get back on my feet! But Needless to say she is still my little munchkin and I love her, It really has not changed our lives so much. We are still dealing with the tics that we have been dealing with for a year now. The best thing is we now know what the problem is and we can move forward! I just thought that I would let you all know, as I consider you all my friends
