Double Dutch

For this hair do I started with my chi and Curled all of The Little Princesses Hair and then I pulled the back into a clip and did two Dutch braids running from ear to ear across her head, one starting on the left the other starting on the right
 
Here are her braids running across her head easy she just has long braids hanging down the side

Then I pulled the tails down and hooked them under her hair, with an elastic

Hair tragedy part deux

once again hair tragedy has struck my life! Baby Mermaid has decided to donate her hair to Locks of Love, However thrilled I am to have my children give such a selfless gift to little children who really need this gift! I feel so selfish in thinking that I need it to!

after the big chop, I asked for them to take 8 inches I think they took more like 10, or we have different rulers! LOL

Shorty cornrows

Here is a hair do for short hair

I parted out the front of the Little Princesses hair and split it into eight sections

I braided each section back in a dutch french braid (we call them cornrows) If I am wrong in calling them that feel free to tell me as I do not know what the difference is and I would love to!
Then I curled all of her hair under hairsprayed to my hearts content, and then I fluffed it up ( the picture does not do it justice is really was very pretty. I was going to fold the braided ends up and make fantails or Heart buns but the Little Princess said I was done! So I stoped

A Wreath of Buns

I saw this hair do on Maddie girl but I changed it up a bit to kinda make it my own. so here goes I parted the Hair into eight sections and put a pony in each section

Then we went up a flat ironed her hair to give it a little more volume

Put it in messy buns same as I do most of my messy buns, by looping it around two fingers and hooking it with an elastic at the base of the pony, with her hair I did add a couple of bobby pins to make it lay more down on her head.


Hair sprayed the whole mess. (the back of her hair didn't reach and so I just curled this later)

I wrapped a sheer ribbon through her hair and then I hooked a big bow in the back to cover where my ribbon started and stopped

Bump it, bump it bump it!

While at wal-mart, I broke down and bought Bump its. To the chorus of Bump it, Bump it, Bump it! I drove home. To the chorus of Bump it, Bump it, Bump it! I pulled out the girls hair. To the chorus of Bump it, Bump it, Bump it! I did new do's none of which were picture worthy! but today with new resolve, we put a bump it in the Little Princesses hair!I flipped all of her hair out with the curling iron, easy peasy.
Then I used the tiny bump it, ratted out the front of her hair, stuck that sucker in there, and smoothed the hair on top, stuck a couple of bobby pins and of course a bow and your done!

short hair do #1

Here is a hair do that I have done a couple of times on the little princess since she has cut her hair short! so I parted out the front section, due to the fact that we lost all of our hairdoing clips on vacation I am using elastics!
Then I hooked the sides back so that my parts would still be straight when I braided her hair.

braided the hair pulling strands only from the front so the braid would stand up on one edge. this is also a dutch french braid which helps it pop up.

Hair Tragedy!

Today a hair tragedy occurred, I took my long locked little girl in to the beauty college and she came out a totally different person! Mom is going to have to look for some short hair styles because that is what she has now! But on a more serious note I am so proud of the Little Princess, this is the third time that she has donated to locks of love and I couldn't be more proud! She is a beautiful girl long hair or short!
