Easy! Oriental bun

Today we went for a bun to match Little Mermaids dress, this is probably the easiest bun we have ever done!

We put her hair into a half ponytail .

Then we put a chopstick in between her head and the elastic, My hot man put it in a pencil sharpener to make it slide in her hair better!

then I twisted the hair and wrapped it in a figure 8 around the chopstick

just keep wrapping, wrapping wrapping

then I bobby pined the ends around the bun,

Here she is from the front

and from the back!

Messier Pigtail Buns

For today's hair I wanted something quick and up, I hate long hair just straggly especially for school, it always comes back all nasty! so this is what we did!

so we french braided back her bangs sections just in messy non-parted braids, easy you cant mess this up!

this is the side front braid, why I am showing this pic?

Then I pulled back the rest of her hair into lowish pigtails, I included the braids from the front

then you make funky messy buns! I really don't have my own way of a really messy bun, I have borrowed everyone else's ways and then usually I put bobby pins in them till they are not messy anymore

Then I added some bows from my web store! I know I am obsessed with bows

a pic from the back so you can see just how messy this do was! I hope ya enjoyed and I hope this helps inspire you to do this hair do on your little ones!

curlformers agian!

today we went with curly hair! the plus of this hairdo is it will be a two day-er! I love 2 day hair so this is day one!

Here is her hair after I have taken it out of the Curlformers (the worlds best curlers!) I am working on getting a giveaway up and going for these!
I put her hair in the long green and blue ones on the bottom half and the orange and pink on the top half, I wish I had all pink and orange, they fit long hair better!

then I pulled all of her hair back and hooked it with bobby pins, I could only find dark ones that I use in to cool for hair's hair but they show up in the picture better I guess

We put a bow in over the bobby pins, you know me!

Here she is from the front and ready for school! on a side note I just listed a bunch of valentine bows, they are really cute! you may want to go to chic-clips to check them out! and remember to enter to win bows at http://chic-clipsgiveaway.blogspot.com/

Then we pulled the rest into pigtails, hooking the "braid" into the pigtail on the left

we added some bows and...

Barn door Hair

Hi, everyone! I have a new blog that is just going to focus on giveaways! I am really excited about offering this! I have a great giveaway for hair bows going on right now! The web site is chic-clips giveaway now on to the hair do, I called this the barn door because growing up my Aunt Lenore had a big red barn with a white X painted on it just like a classic barn door you would see in cartoons! I loved it and this hair do reminded me of her barn!

So I started with four pigtails and did twists in all four, no problem for all you hair ladies out there!

now I crossed them in a zig-zag pattern

Here they are all crossed around

now I wound the ends around the bases of the pigtails and hooked them with booby pins

added some huge-o bows and we are off

This is a pic of the next morning they had come unwound a little bit, I loved it this way (a little more messy) so we added bows again and were out the door again! YES two days with one do!

zig zag funky braid, headband

Today I did Baby Mermaids hair in a classic hair headband with a funky zigzag braid that my sister-in-law Becky taught me forever ago and I had forgot about it! it is super simple and easy to do but, before we get started, I just wanted to let you know I have started a new blog that is just for giveaways and I am giving away free bows! check it out at http://chic-clipsgiveaway.blogspot.com/ and now on to the hairdo!

Here is the look that we are going for, It is really simple and her hair is wet still, I figured we would let it freeze on the way to school, believe me it is cold enough to let that happen but I simply ran out of time. I remember as a kid having frozen hair at school, ahhh the good ole days!

so I simply sectioned out a piece of hair by the part for the headband and braided it,

separated the strands so I have one strand on one side and two on the other

loosend up the two strands and then pushed them up the single strand keeping the single strand tight
if you need a video her is a quick one, my lighting was terrible though, sorry!

and here she is all done after I hooked the braid into the headband! I shoulda put a bow in but we were outta time!
